One of the most common questions we get from tradies and shop owners is simple: how long is this going to take? Fair question - you’re busy, and you need to know when the new site will actually start working for you.
What slows most builds down
It’s rarely the design or the build itself. It’s waiting on content - photos, service descriptions, logins, and sign-off. A build that could take two weeks can drag out to two months if content and feedback are slow to arrive.
What a realistic timeline looks like
For most trade and small store websites, once we have your content and details, the build itself takes a couple of weeks. Add review and revision time on top, and most sites are live within a few weeks of kicking off.
What you can do to speed it up
- Have your logo, photos, and service list ready before you start
- Give feedback in one round rather than a little at a time
- Nominate one person to sign off on decisions
Why we give a clear timeline upfront
Before any work starts, we’ll tell you exactly what we need from you and when you can expect to go live. No vague “it’ll be done when it’s done” - you’ll know the plan from day one.
